How much does vinyl flooring cost in Singapore?
Supply and install ranges from S$3.50 to S$10 per sqft depending on system. LVT is S$3.50 to S$8, SPC is S$5 to S$10, overlay is S$4 to S$7. Hacking and re-screeding are priced separately if demolition is needed.
How long does vinyl flooring installation take?
A typical HDB living room is 1 working day from hacking to skirting. Larger condo or commercial jobs take 2 to 3 days. Overlay-only is often completed within 8 hours.
Can vinyl flooring be installed over existing tiles?
Yes. Our overlay system installs vinyl plank or LVT directly over sound, level tile substrate. This skips hacking and re-screeding — cost-effective and dust-free.
Is vinyl flooring waterproof?
SPC vinyl is fully waterproof due to its stone-plastic core. LVT and vinyl plank are water-resistant and suitable for bathrooms and kitchens when edges are sealed.
Is vinyl flooring HDB-approved?
Yes. Vinyl flooring is permitted in HDB BTO, resale and rental flats. HDB permits for hacking are handled by Fortified.
Does vinyl need floor hacking first?
Only if the existing floor is uneven or damaged. If the existing surface is level and sound, overlay vinyl skips hacking entirely.
What is vinyl screeding?
Flooring vinyl screed is a thin cement layer poured over a hacked subfloor to create a level surface before vinyl is laid. Our flooring vinyl screeding crew levels to within 3mm tolerance.
What types of vinyl flooring do you install?
