LVT is the most-installed flooring vinyl tiles type in Singapore HDB and condo projects because it tolerates humidity, stays dimensionally stable in wet zones like kitchens and bathrooms, and sits flat over minor subfloor unevenness. Per-sqft installed cost typically lands $5 to $7 including underlay.
Flooring vinyl skirting is the perimeter trim that finishes the join between your vinyl floor and the wall. Standard heights are 80mm or 100mm, with colour matched to your floor selection. Installed alongside the flooring vinyl install in the same working day, our team uses construction adhesive plus pin nails for a clean line that survives daily mopping. Per-linear-foot install cost is approximately $5.
Most HDB and condo subfloors need flooring vinyl screed only when the existing slab has dips greater than 3mm per 2m straight edge. Our installer checks every site with a laser level before quoting. Cement screed adds 8 to 15mm of floor height, takes 24 to 48 hours to dry, and costs $2.50 to $4.50 per sqft. Self-levelling screed (3 to 6mm) is faster to apply and works well for minor levelling needs at $4 to $6 per sqft. We include flooring vinyl screed in the package quote when it is needed for the substrate condition, never as a surprise upsell after work starts. If the subfloor is already flat within tolerance, we skip the screed step and you save the cost.
